Christmas Eve day I took a journey in a lull of a snowstorm to the least popular mall in town, the only mall that has Claire's. The mall had been open for an hour but there was no one there, and in the hallway stood a mid-30's aged elf. I wondered what she was doing so far from the Santa picture booth, but she followed me in to the store and asked if I needed help. "I'm in search of a nail polish!" Oops. So wrong to say. She was apparently an expert, though from what I could tell it was only in all things neon. "Get this!" she exclaimed. "If only I had your youth, I wish I could wear these neons!" She had so much Christmas cheer that I couldn't resist maybe just trying the neon teal that she had insisted would look great with my skin. The color was interesting and I figured since it was a teal that it wouldn't be glaring on my skin. Wrong. So, so wrong. Don't look directly at my nails, you may go blind. Maybe I could try it with glitter? I don't know. It's scary and in my sock drawer. I don't want it to frighten my other teals.

It's not as bad as you say. Lol. But I'm not sure if the picture captures the neon-nes...
Lol, it's really very bright. This picture showed the color pretty well but the neon-nes is very in your face in person! I wear neon from time to time but I always feel like I could land a plane with my fingers or something. It's a lot to take!
Pretty, me and my six year old share this color! Its a fun beach/pool pedi. I feel your pain about landing planes with nails! I got Essie's bright yellow neon and people could see it for nearly a mile away! LITERALLY...a building away people were calling me on the walkie about it!!!
Hahaha thats crazy! Silly Elfs.
I really dislike neons my self... even neon highlighters that are just too neon i can't stand. It kills my eyes.
But a neon teal? That's kinda cool. Maybe you can franken it with some white creme polish?
I'm definitely liking the franken with white idea. I actually really like the color itself, it's just so retina-burning bright that I can't enjoy it very long!
I agree with the above comment. It sounds cool and maybe you could franken with it? Add white, black, or even mix it with some other darker shimmers to tone it down?
"It's scary and in my sock drawer" OMG I was laughing my arse off at that one! I agree with the frankening ideas! You could try Happy Unbirthday over it!
